Comments- I really like the article that talks about Glutes, and how weak glutes can bring on, not only piriformis syndrome, but Plantar's Fasciitis. It was very thorough and well done. Super helpful. I have Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction, Piriformis Syndrome, Plantar's Fasciitis (on again- off again), and herniated lumbar discs at work at my previous job as an Orthopedic RN. Muscles atrophied following a minor hip scope surgery. After 12 weeks of not lifting people and having exercise restrictions, it wasn't long after my return to work that it all happened. Overuse of knees following a, "Minor" back surgery, caused bilat inner knee meniscal tears. Knees scoped and later replaced. This all began when I was 42. Previously, I was a certified fitness instructor, and aerobics instructor. I am trying to work on recovering. Finally, so can return to work in some sort of job in nursing that will work with my body. I want to work on imbalances, and get toned back up, but I don't want to bring on more problems.
